ABOUT US

EAT HEALTHY. FEEL AMAZING.

Whole Food Plant-Based
Our 100% plant-based menu is based on foods derived from plants, including vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and fruits. How is plant-based different from vegan? Vegans abstain from any animal-based products. A whole foods plant-based diet, on the other hand, emphasizes eating whole fruits and vegetables, consuming lots of whole grains, and staying away from the intake of animal products and processed, artificial foods for health reasons. Vegan doesn’t necessarily mean healthy, but plant-based does.

Clean Ingredients
Everything you eat at Nourish Cafe is made from plants and with the cleanest possible ingredients. That means we keep our ingredients to a minimum, avoid processed foods, source organic whenever possible, and work with menu partners that share the same clean philosophy. So you’ll know that what you eat at Nourish not only tastes good, but is good for you.

Natural Sweeteners
We use all natural, low-glycemic sweeteners like dates / date paste (high in fiber), pure maple syrup (high in antioxidants, zinc, magnesium, calcium and potassium), organic coconut sugar (contains magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, B vitamins and amino acids), and real fruit juice. We don’t use any refined sugars, white sugars or other sweeteners with chemicals or ingredients that we can’t pronounce.

Minimal Oils
We use a minimal amount of oil in our menu dishes and baked goods to achieve better heart health through lower cholesterol. Some of our dressings are oil-free but when we choose to use oil, it is in minimal amounts with a consciousness toward healthier, plant-based oils that are rich in fiber, help promote digestion, and boost metabolism.

Flour Power
A powerful lineup of plant-based flours go into our legendary baked goods. Our favorite flours include almond flour, sprouted whole wheat flour, sprouted spelt flour, chickpea flour, and quinoa flour. They’re unrefined, nutrient dense, and made from nuts, beans and whole grains. Not everything we serve is gluten-free because sometimes it’s not worth sacrificing the flavor and nutrients of a great baked good.

A Cleaner Planet
When you eat at Nourish Cafe, you’re doing good for you – and for the planet. We use sustainable, local ingredients on our menu that make a low carbon impact. We also use compostable takeout containers, straws and cutlery, and fill up our giant, green compost bins every night.
